Curating a Pinterest wedding before starting planning your real one can often turn out to be a fantastic decision – here are the boards you should start building now!

Whether you’re engaged or not, Pinterest wedding boards are so much fun. For any bride or groom-to-be, they can be essential planning tools, with some photographers and videographers asking for links to Pinterest boards to get an idea of your vision and aesthetic for your day. They can also be very helpful to us in the creative process as we determine what style your dream day is. Here are the five Pinterest boards we suggest you get started on today!

1
Your Dress/SUIT

Of course! Your personal aesthetic for the day can quite often be a massive tone-setter. A boho-chic dress with floral headbands indicates a certain type of bride/wedding. Likewise top hat and tails for the gents indicates a whole different look.

2
Flowers

Pin what your dream bouquet would look like. Pin a buttonhole you find particularly ‘you’. Pin some pictures of bridesmaids with flowers that you think would work with your chosen bridal party. Colours that you’re repeatedly drawn to will be so important in determining what tones you’ll surround yourself with.

3
Beauty

Hair, nails, makeup, tan, pedicures; the works. You’ll be wanting to look your very best on the day of your wedding and that involves a lot of beauty prep for the ladies and grooming for the guys. A board with hair and makeup looks you love will be vital in describing to your glam team what exactly you’re hoping to achieve.

4
Stationery

Maybe this is just us, but we think the stationery (invites, menus, ceremony booklets etc) can really finish off an aesthetic perfectly, not to mention that the invite is the first indication all of your guests get of what your day might be like. Pinning your fave invites, save the date ideas and menu print-outs is fun and a good way to keep all your inspo in one place.

5
Wedding Mood

General images of reception rooms, signs, details and even food will be a great asset to your planner, to you and to your photographer. The type of images that appeal to you on Pinterest will guide everyone involved in creating and capturing your day.
